Since its inception, The CraneWorks has been dedicated to supporting small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) with a range of services, programs, and publications:

  • Breakthroughs for Business Project Report (2006): Original research on SME growth and success factors.

  • Group Programs: Developed and delivered Created in Oakland and PROPEL Small Business Growth programs to empower SMEs to cross the $1 million gross revenue level. About 8% of graduates crossed $1 million in gross revenue in two to four years pre-pandemic. Our Business Mastery programs are in development to help owners to achieve goals, adapt to rapid change and manage risk dynamics.

  • Advising SME CEOs: Providing guidance on company performance, growth, and resilience to navigate today's business landscape.
